Our History

In 1978 a group of Taylor area BBQ lovers made plans to have a Barbecue Cookoff to show everyone in the U.S. that Taylor Texas had some of the best cooks in the country!   "BBQ Bob" Roberts along with lots of area families showcased just how great we all were at making world famous Texas BBQ!   45 years later, we continue that tradition and we honor everyone that kept this dream alive.
